The Republican National Committee is excited to launch the new website, www.gopplatform2012.com, the RNC Convention's Platform Committee. It will serve as a place for Republicans across the country to share their ideas with us about the issues and values they want included in our party's platform. Every four years, the Republican Party comes together to write our party's platform. The platform is an important document for our party and outlines our dedication to limited government, life and liberty, free enterprise and opportunity for all.

This is a great opportunity to get involved in the political process, support your Republican leaders, and make your voice heard! Our nation is desperate for solutions right now that will get us back on a track toward prosperity, freedom, and a more fiscally responsible government. I want to thank Governor Bob McDonnell of Virginia, Senator John Hoeven of North Dakota, and Representative Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee for spearheading this effort and creating a platform through which we can meaningfully engage with the American people. More than ever, we need the Republican base on board to craft our platform and send Governor Mitt Romney to the White House.
